The Pelican Bay Services Division's educational video"Water Runs Through It" describes the history of Pelican Bay's unique water management system as told by those who played a role from the very beginning, circa 1973 to present. Includes interviews with Mr. Ross Obley, President, Westinghouse Communities, Founder of Pelican Bay and longtime resident; Mr. George Hermanson, P.E., Hole Montes, Inc.; Mr. Tim Hall, Principal and Sr. Biologist, Turrell, Hall & Associates; Mr. Kyle Lukasz, Pelican Bay Services Division Operations Manager; and Pelican Bay residents. Narrated by Claudia Cashman. Video production by Adiel Eshkenazi & Jennifer Rosenthal of Blue Sky Media, Inc. This educational video fulfills a requirement of the Pelican Bay Services Division's Florida Department of Environmental Protection and Army Corp. of Engineers' Clam Bay Restoration & Management Plan ten-year permit (recently expired.) Paid for by Pelican Bay property owners through the Pelican Bay Services Division Municipal Service Taxing & Benefit Unit non ad-valorem assessment for fiscal year 2008-2009. Dedicated to and in memory of Stanley W. Hole, P.E., whose groundbreaking design and vision made the beauty of Pelican Bay possible. Running time approximately 22 minutes.
